iSystemsNow has completed a DeviceNet network study on the existing controls system in use at the Oakland International Airport. Our engineering partners, The Vic Thompson Company, are in the process of completing a conceptual design for the airport baggage handling system, focusing on delivering new EDS screening technology, and modernized software & controls.
As a part of this effort, iSystemsNow, was pleased to bring our expertise to assessing the state of the existing controls system, focusing specifically on the integrity and performance of the DeviceNet industrial communications network. In identifying which components of the network can be preserved in the reconfigured design, The Vic Thompson Company will be able to make a sound recommendation to their customers as to what should stay and what should go.
